Since then I brain farted this out. I did this at work today over lunch because the thoughts were bothering me. Read those blithering's below but know this.....my earlier mentioned blog is not something I am able to logon to anymore because I can't seem to figure it out. It's funny how problems and weird quandaries somehow resolve themselves.
I am back. This is for you Brunner family. Pray I have the gumption to be brave and tell people about this and also keep up with current posts and stories.
Love Mom
Still ponder after a ton of months not entering any posts, wondering if my access is in place and open for me to even post……..wondering what to do with this site. I thought about resurrecting it if nothing else for the kids. It takes time and devotion to keeping this sucker up to date. Pictures need taken and loaded and explained and they are so wonderful and fun when it’s all complete and for me, it beats scrapbooking for putting together diaries or albums, etc.
But alas, time is one thing I do not have a lot of. The older those kids get, but busier and more broke I seem to become. Young mothers, consider yourselves warned.
But in my ponderings, I’ve come up with some thoughts with regard to this blog:
- Change the name of the blog and make it public, but centered around my family FOR my family, but allow others to voyeur.
- Keep the name and make it everything said above. Content and title may not always suit each other as the focus and intent has morphed but…… tomato/tomatoe (or whetever)
- Abandon entirely and possibly one day regret it when I grow old and crusty and forget the specifics of our memories, this house, that house, this meal, that vacation. I don’t think I’ll get crusty, but I am delusional. Awareness is 75% of the problem, no??
- Post as it works, keeping them short and sweet, change the name or don’t. Kids know it’s for them with voyeurs allowed so go forth and post-er (prosper but I’m trying to be funny. I mighta just fell on my face somewhat.)
I like #4. I will flirt with a name change. I think looking back I will love and so will my family (the kids, mostly) will fondly recall the video-ish diary of their lives and memories from the perspective of their mama. I just need to keep telling myself ‘AS IT WORKS, KAREN’ and ‘SHORT AND SWEET, KAREN’!!!!
